you change people. your name makes others smile. your work moves people. someone might compliment you somewhere, right now. someone’s heart will beat faster just thinking about you. your friends remember your experiences fondly. someone might see a book in the store and think of you, too. you inspire others to keep going, or you will someday. your presence matters and changes the world every day.

I don’t even know where to begin.
Sometimes anxiety and depression doesn’t even knock at your door. It just attacks you when you’re alone.
How is it that I want company as bad as I want time alone?
I’m using work to conceal all my feelings and I know it is so, so, unhealthy, but it helps a little.
A little.
Dear God, take away this pain in my head and heart.
“Not everything is supposed to become something beautiful and long-lasting. Sometimes people come into your life to show you what is right and what is wrong, to show you who you can be, to teach you to love yourself, to make you feel better for a little while, or to just be someone to walk with at night and spill your life to. Not everyone is going to stay forever, and we still have to keep on going and thank them for what they’ve given us.”— Emery Allen (via perrfectly)
